F-4 Phantom Pilot video puts the viewer in the cockpit of an U.S. Marine Corps F-4B Phantom flying various combat missions in Vietnam during the fighting in 1967-1968. The video covers air-to-ground, air-to-air and airborne forward air controller missions. Many of these scenes have never been shown in public. Narration and explanations are featured throughout the video. The video is supplemented with rocket attack scenes from the TET Offensive of February 1968 and gives the viewer an idea what it was like to be on the receiving end in a war zone. In addition, there is a 5 minutes scene of an F-4B Phantom trying to make a gear up landing. The video also has a short 10 minute description of the F/A-18, the aircraft that replaced the F-4B Phantom.
